The Ministry of Water and Environment has allocated funds for Supply of branded Pillars for the Demarcation of critical wetlands in selected districts.
The Entity invites sealed bids for the provision of the above supplies. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.

The Government of Uganda through Ministry of Water and Environment, Water and Sanitation Development Facility-South West has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of works detailed below;
The MWE with financing from the World Bank will implement the refugees and host communities water supply and sanitation sub component under the Integrated Water Management and Development Project to contribute to realization of objectives above. This sub component will, with financing from the IDA 18 Refugees Sub-Window, support activities designed to improve the sustainable provision of water supply and sanitation services to refugee settlements and host communities.

The Project area is generally called Kyegegwa-Mpara-Ruyonza but the Project area covers Kyegegwa Town Council, Mpara RGC, Ruyonza RGC, Kyaka RGC (including Kyaka II Refugee Settlement), Kabogore RGC and other en-route RGCs. Kyegegwa T/C, Mpara, Ruyonza and Kyaka RGCs are located in Kyegegwa District while Kabogore RGC is located in Kiruhura District.
The Government of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) towards the cost of the Strategic Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project (STWSSP), and intends to apply part of the agreed amounts for these funds to payments under the contracts for consultancy assignments for feasibility studies for th pilot projects under the strategic program for climate change resilience as indicated in the table below;
