The Government of Uganda (GoU) through the Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE), with financial assistance from the World Bank is implementing Integrated Water Management and Development Project (IWMDP).

The Ministry of Water & Environment has allocated funds for the procurement of Consultancy Services for Design Review and Construction Supervision of a Three (3) Storey National Water Quality Reference Laboratory building at Entebbe, Ministry of Water and Environment.

The Ministry of Water & Environment has allocated funds for the procurement of Consultancy Services for Accreditation of the National Water Quality Reference Laboratory (NWQRL), Directorate of Water Resources Management, Ministry of Water and Environment.  The consultancy services will include:

The Republic of Uganda has received a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of the Integrated Water Management and Development Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Supply of Technical equipment for Regional laboratories.

The Government of Uganda (GoU) has received financing from the World Bank for the implementation of the Integrated Water Management and Development Project (IWMDP). The project development objective (PDO) is to improve access to water supply and sanitation services, capacity for integrated water resources management and the operational performance of water and sanitation service providers in the IWMDP Project areas.
